Welcome to Our Bi-weekly (er det rigtigt?) Dars: Nurturing Great Character and Enlightenment of great Minds:
As-salam u Alaikum (oversættelse). We are excited to introduce you to our insightful and enriched weekly Dars-program. An interactive lecture specifically designed to empower the youth by building a strong moral compass, whilst learning to achieve the greatest character. This is achievable by discussing our way to get a deeper understanding of Quran and looking into Sahih Ahadeeth. Additionally, encouraging the youth to articulate societal issues faced by the youth in Denmark. Moreover, looking for solutions with an Islamic perspective.
The Essence of our Weekly Dars
It is strongly encouraged to not only have a strong foundation, but also a harmonious society which is attainable, by good character. The Bi-weekly Dars is dedicated to nurture this aspect of the Danish youth by helping them to become adults with empathy, responsibility and a well-rounded personality. This will contribute positively to the local community and to the ummah..
Discovering Sahih Ahadeeth:
Pursuing the greatest character of all-time, we turn into the timeless wisdom of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), known as (one of the names which focusses on great character), through authentic sources known as Sahih Ahadeeth. Authentic traditions of the prophet provide insight into the ethics, behavior and the principles that shapes a virtuous life. While studying Sahih Ahadeeth, the aim is to fill in the gap of the teachings of Islam, and to practically apply the teachings into our everyday lives.
A lens of Islamic Perspectives on Current Affairs:
The increasing stress levels experienced by youth are ever evolving, and the responsibility to equip great potential within the minds of the youth with tools to uphold and deal with complexities. This responsibility is to be taken by someone, and our *Bi-weekly* dars encourages in thoughtful discussion and analyses of issues, through the lens of Islam. This will not only enhance the DMC’s understanding of contemporary challenges, but also empower us to make informed decisions and engage constructively in the Danish society.
